Talking Freshwater Madness...

4:30 AM it began...little did I know I was about to have my greatest day on the water EVER...Around here a 3#er is a nice fish , well, today I had four fish that were just at or below the 4 # mark and my soon to be brother in law had a couple of pigs as well. And yes, as with most great outings there was heartbreak...I lost what was EASILY a 6 #er, I was thinking, there's my first wall mount as she flew up into the air...UNTIL , she came down hard and the plug came out ...I fished on...

Nice ones. Do you only use plugs for LMB?
I showed a guy at work what a senko worm is and taught him how to
use it. He call me the following Monday at work and tell me he caught a
5.5 pounder on his second cast with his new senko worms.

Nice Ratty!

When I used to go out (I say used to because now with 2 kids & a wife sqeezing out 'to do lists' it’s all but a foggy memory) up in the Adirondacks we hit SMB with Jitterbugs right at dusk. I remember one night it was so hot the this one bass jumped about 15” out of the water to hit a jitterbug dangling over the water from a rod I leaned on the side of the boat.

Good times….good times….

I just caught my biggest LMB the other night. I had all my gear but no camera
when I went fishing on short notice. On a Yamamoto green senko. Those things rock.
